SOCIAL SINGING CHOIR
Our choirs are all founded with the idea of bringing people together to sing and have a good time. As they’re linked to the studio there are always fun opportunities. The studio choirs have sung on several major albums, including The Social Singing Choir’s own Moshi Moshi Records release. We have also featured on a BBC Radio 1 Hottest Record, recorded a high profile Christmas Ad campaign for Very.com, performed as part of The Turner Prize and so much more.
We partner with local charities to raise funds and awareness and make sure we have a positive impact within the community.

Social Singing Choir
The Social Singing Choir is not your average choir and our aim is simple. To be a choir within the Margate community that sings great music with a relaxed and fun approach. No auditions, no need of previous experience. The whole idea of the S.S.C is to sing some great songs together and have a good time.
Membership is £65.00 for each 10-week term. This includes all sessions, recordings of parts and events. We rehearse every Tuesday at Union Church. Click the link below to apply for membership for the Summer term starting on June 11th 2024
Margate Children’s Choir
Through singing, games, performance and recording opportunities, the choir will be somewhere kids can have fun, grow in confidence, improve their speech, memory, coordination and their ability to work together. We'll be singing a mixture of contemporary pop, rock, soul and music from around the world.

It seemed like a nice idea to ask them to cover some Moshi Moshi songs to mark our 20th birthday celebrations but we never dreamed they would come out sounding as good as they have.
