Institute Studios is a purpose-built professional venue for vocal sessions, choral rehearsals, and recording. Vocal sessions take place in the 50m2 rehearsal space. There is also a newly installed basement recording studio.

Hughie works with both professional and non-professional singers from a wide variety of genres. From coaching on The Voice UK and Vocal Directing large scale touring shows to running local community and children’s choirs. Regardless of the level of experience, lessons at the studio are based on the same approach to technique and performance. It's also important that the sessions are fun! Due to the writing, recording, and performance schedule, the studio is only open Thursday - Saturday until 2pm.

Hughie Gavin is a vocalist, songwriter, arranger, and vocal coach based in Margate Kent. He signed to Downtown Music Publishing in 2016 and works extensively in Europe with international artists such as Swim Deep, Ellie Golding, Sonny Alven, Hardwell, SODY, Third Party, and Laidback Luke. His unique voice makes him in demand as a featured vocalist. As a performer and writer, his work has been released by major labels worldwide racking up over 30 million streams in the last year alone. His version of 'I Could Have Danced All Night' was used as the 2020-21 Audi advertising campaign worldwide. He also vocal directed the 2019 Christmas advertising campaign for very.com. He works with major labels and production companies creating music for TV and film.
